I have now built up multiple hours of practicing takeoffs and landings which has helped improve my pattern work. Lots of practice has helped me try and perfect anticipating what will occur and what to do next in the pattern. There are two kinds of patterns left and right traffic, the most common is right traffic. Both of these pattern directions have you take off towards the ocean which is nice to be able to see on a clear day.
